Such powerful lyrics - thank god for translations but I want to understand this in french!

Thanks so much to those providing translations and additional info about the album. The music and videos are great, but there's so much that's lost on those of us that don't speak French. :S So again: Thank you!! :D

This particular thread, in an album about threads, links the girl with the woman that will be her destiny and end. At the end of the song the small girl is dead and there's a woman. But the girl is still there, singing and dancing.
Ce fil particulier, dans un album sur le lien, relie la fille avec la femme de son avenir. À la fin de la chanson, la petite fille est morte et il y a une femme. Mais la fille est toujours là, chantant and dansant.

People, the album is called the thread. That's why the string and that's why the same note resounding through out every song.

it is like the telephone game our grandparents played... with a tin can... anyway, the therme is that she keeps coming back to the same musical note - her fave... thru the whole CD. in this vid she re-connects whith her younger self... across a large body of water.
