Annual Dinner of BASSMA at Sursock Palace Gardens, Speeches of the President Founder of BASSMA, Mrs. Sandra Klat Abdelnour (Part 2) and of H.E. Mrs. Leyla El Solh Hamadeh

BASSMA Lebanese nonprofit organization for social development has organized its annual gala dinner at Sursock Palace Gardens on the 5th of May 2010, under the patronage of H.E. Mrs. Leila El Solh Hamadeh.
This year's celebration theme was "Blooming Smiles".
More than 400 people participated in this event to express their support to the Smiles Mission.
On this occasion, H.E. Mrs Leila El Solh Hamadeh generously offered a refrigerated van to BASSMA. This van will help the association develop its "Dinner Delivery" project, that consists in visiting in their homes the deprived elderly and sick people who are unable to walk and reach BASSMA's Smiles Restaurant. BASSMA will offer them food, medicines, clothes and lots and lots of love...
The ceremony included a live performance "The Broadway Era Show", as well a fashion show organized by the event's main sponsor: Nomination.
Also, many other sponsors participated in this event, contributing greatly to its success.
In her speech, the president of BASSMA, Mrs. Sandra Klat Abdelnour presented the achievements of the association as well as its projects and thanked all the sponsors and donors that are helping BASSMA draw smiles.
All profits or this event will go to cover the needs of the most destitute families and will benefit BASSMA's specialized rehabilitation program. The program focuses on education and employment, aiming to help families achieve financial independence. Through this tailored program, BASSMA support families by providing them with basics needs such as food, medication, clothes and social assistance, thereby creating a real difference in their lives.
