I imagine it wouldn't be used for mid season practice on the home course, but for checking out a new course or the first runs of the season and over the off season, for sure!
I feel like it "draws" the same kind of lines.
I only HEARD that it WAS A practice car, not the only, and not still,
but i believe it.

@wcstick tnx for the advice.My understanding was the opposite before.sticky tires in front, loose tires at the rear. tnx!

@MiDiLeiROCKS thanks for the correction, I keep mixing up the two since the environment is somewhat similar. R3s may be too sticky for drifting. if you're straightening out too early, try less sticky tires in the front. since you don't have as much precise control on the PSP, you won't be able to hold the right amount of countersteer so using less stickier tires in front will keep it sliding.

@wcstick oh sorry. Im using R3/S3. I use the normal 207bhp. i am currently tweaking my 86 for the best drift settings on all single race and time trial modes. I want a drift setting that aslo competitive even on S level difficultie, Tnx for this video
WELL . . . this is a street car and therefore should be limited to sports tires for racing and normal tires for drifting.
second of all . you're putting the less sticky tires in back ? may I ask why ? have you thought any of this through - it may come as a surprise but when it comes to drifting you want an FR that understeers, and then you tune it to understeer even more.
WHY? because you can always counter the understeer with oversteer using weight transfer and throttle.

yes, this is still technically a street car, but gran turismo classified it as a race car and allows race tires. I use less sticky tires in the back just for the ease of initiating a drift. the amount of precision and control I have on the PSP is very limited. as much of a simulator gran turismo claims to be, you can't exactly do the same thing on the psp version. in the end, you could simply deem me a noob who somehow found his own way of "drifting." =P

@wcstick
No No No No thats perfectly fine, all I am saying is just because you CAN use racing tires doesn't mean you SHOULD ;P
It's a personally implemented constraint, I'm not suggesting the game limit any car to any tires, at all . . . infact, I heard the trueno was a practice car for F1, I sure as hell bet they had racing tires and motor for that + after trying the very same thing ( r3 r3 trial mountain ) I believe it. feels like a slow f2007 ^_-
I strongly reccomend trying normal tires.

@Lipschitz666 I see your point. The Trueno being a practice car for F1 is news to me. I know it has a Formula Atlantic engine and it handles well, but a practice car for F1? I don't think any cars can come close to the feeling of an open-wheel racer...at least not realistically. I should try it sometime...

and Btw i think this is trial mountain not deep forest. I practice a lot in trial mountain . uhmm can i ask you something? do you think its possible i can match your drift using R3/S3? with 207bhp? I notice my drift are "shortlived". LOL i mean my 86 dont drift as long as yours. All my aids are turned off. manual trans. standard driving physics.Can you give me some advices. Even for trial mountain only? TNX so much

@MiDiLeiROCKS and don't use this video as a "prime example" because it's one of my worst drift runs. =P if you want I can give it another try.
