Nothing plays into their hands more than Gitmo as it reinforces the propaganda that America and the west are hypocrites who just pretend to believe in freedom as a means of pushing more insidious agendas.

I believe Gitmo is nothing less that treason! -- It gives aid and comfort to our enemies in the most basic way. If young people become radical because their elders say the US is the "Great Satan" and we turn around and make those same enemies victims without rights or respect, how are they wrong? Any "evidence" that comes from torture is unreliable anyway. Of all the screw-ups "W" and his follow "chicken haws" have made, this is probably the worst!

Gitmo is a beacon of hope, the only sign of common sense in this upside-down world. Islamic terrorism is an enemy that does not adhere to any rule and we should not make the mistake of dealing with it in an overly polite manner. Violence is all it understands.
