I'm kind of tired of people reducing anything remotely emotional to being emo, things happen people get CFS people get burned out people get depression, older people and younger people do, it is a little bit narrow minded to reduce it all to being teenage angst.

All good music is essentially emotional, whether the emotion is happiness, sadness, anger or whatever. To me, listening to music is about the emotions. Thinking about it this way has given me a much broader taste in music and understanding of other people's tastes :)
I don't like it when people only call sad songs emotional, when sadness is just an emotion like the rest of them.
