Tabula Rasa Server Shutdown Event HD

This little video displays the online festivites (or whatever you might call it) and subsequent battles for the different areas of Tabula Rasa before all players were forced to battle it out with Empire Sector's Bane forces to regain at least a small part of the galaxy until the servers went down on 00:00GMT on March 1st.

I was never that into MMORPGS until I came across Tabula Rasa (way too late, I might add). To me it was the only MMO that came close to my personal taste. It was mature, Sci-Fi and particularly dark und convinced me with its grim athmosphere and overall design. It's a pitty that the servers were shut down. But I'm very glad that I could be part of the TR universe for way to short time. Obviously and regrettably TR didn't have that appeal on the masses (and went out of beta quite to early in my opinion). Hopefully you will still like this video! Have fun!



Dieses kleine Video besteht aus den Onlinefestlichkeiten und den darauf folgenden Schlachten um die einzelnen Gebiete Tabula Rasas, worauf schlußendlich die verbleibenden Spieler in den Empire Sector getrieben werden um die dort stationierten Bane-Truppen zu erledigen und sich zumindest einen kleinen Teil der Galaxis zurückzuholen bis die Server um 1 Uhr morgens am 1. März endgültig heruntergefahren wurden und das Schicksal dieses MMOs besiegelten.

MMORPGs hatten mir nie besonders zugesagt. Zumindest bis ich (leider viel zu spät) über Tabula Rasa gestolpert bin. Es war (und ist) das einzige MMO, daß meinen persönlichen Geschmack traf. Es hatte eine erwachsene Storyline, Sci-Fi und ziemlich düster, wobei mich diese düstere Athmosphäre vollendes überzeugte. Es ist verdammte schade, daß die Server heruntergefahren werden mußten. Das Spiel war wohl leider nicht massentauglich genug (und kam meiner Meinung nach viel zu früh aus der Beta-Phase). Dennoch bin ich froh, für viel zu kurze Zeit Teil des TR-Universums gewesen zu sein und hoffe, daß Euch dieses Video gefällt! Viel Spaß!

@GamersMinion I think you're absolutely right. There was not nearly enough advertising. I myself stumbled about Tabula Rasa way too late and didn't know much about it before.

NCsoft is just publishing and funding it.

@Kisuul Just admit it NCSoft... the programmers you have had are awe inspiring. Your executives wouldnt know a good game if they were handed an awesome game fully developed and ready to go. They would follow trends and pump out more 'meh' Just like they are doing with Guild Wars 2.

NCSoft are Morons! Tabula Rasa they kill, Aion they free to play. Why cant TR be free to play?!
