very funny video, but who really expected mike to do more prog right after DT? mangini is great so DT will go on, mike can do what ever the hell he wants and im still gonna give it a listen at least. its good times in prog IMO. ADTOE was epic mike is going to jump around with a bunch of projects and make cool stuff like transatlantic (i hope) again so im not mad at all.

He is a great drummer but his singing sucked and it didn't mesh with James voice at all. I like Portnoy, but I think he is totally bored with one type of music, and lost on what he wants to do. He should just stay out of the limelight for a year while he ponders it.

Seriously though stop hating on Portnoy - he wrote so many classics like The Mirror, ACOS, Home, Glass Prison, This Dying Soul, Honor Thy Father, Root of all Evil, Parts of Octavarium, Parts of 6DOIT and Shattered Fortress including producing most of DT albums and playing incredible drums which won him Best Prog Drummer 11 years running and a Hall of Fame induction! I love Dream Theater but I despise other DT fans because they are such ungrateful wankers... "everything is never eeeenough!"
