The Razer Orochi Bluetooth and USB mouse is an excellent choice for laptop or desktop Mac users, and is compatible with Snow Leopard. It has a fully customizable preference pane, is extremely sensitive and responsive, feels great to use, and generally beats anything out there by a mile. Highly recommended, this Mac (and Windows) mouse can operate wirelessly in Bluetooth mode and also as a wired USB mouse for extra versatility and programmability. Excellent choice in a Mac mouse. Comes with mouse, USB cable, carrying pouch, dox.

  • I'm used to having gesture-based controls on the Magic Mouse to do things like expose. Are the buttons able to be mapped for expose/dashboard/etc?

    Thanks!

  • @BFLATINUM Yes you can map them to any keystroke capable function you like. The only thing I don't like about the mouse is no side scrolling click wheel. :(

  • what a shame this video hasen't got any views its very professional :P

  • @frederik283 I am not sure I get the obvious sarcasm. I review products almost always that I like but I explain why. There's no use doing otherwise unless it's to war someone off of a product. I have on eof those coming though.

  • @WholeAppleTV i'm sorry if you misunderstood my comment there was no sarcasm at all in there, the intro and the details of the review, i'm dead serious when saying its professional and deserves more views the :)

ps. i see what you mean the :P smiley med it look pretty sarcastic :D

  • @frederik283 Ok then, sorry for the confusion and thank you!

  • @Switchrunner23 yeah it falls asleep if it is left idle for 3 seconds, i don't think it happens when it has the chord plugged in...

  • does it work for lion???

  • i heard this looks like the bat mobile. I also wanted to ask about the "sleeps in 2-3 seconds" rumor. Does it fall asleep in 2 seconds of none use in bluetooth mode?

  • Can you use this on a macbook pro by using the integrated Bluetooth instead of the one included with the mouse?

  • im gonna get this. fuck magic mouse

  • Trust me, you WANT to restart your computer after driver installation when it comes to Razer mice.. I've owned 5 and their drivers are so-to-speak, "delicate". One mistake in installation and button configuration will mess up due to improper/fragmented driver signing.

  • Wow, thank you for that review! Very professional and clear.

The price of the mouse is fairly close to the price of magic mouse, while Orochi provides much more functionality, much more customizable and it has better tactile properties.

  • Just some random question that i have to ask here because i couldnt find any other videos related to this... is Razer torn mouse compatible with Mac?

  • That weird "keyboard ID" pop-up when you connect is because one of the features of the mouse is to map a button to send a keystroke. The mouse needs to tell the computer it's a keyboard in order to allow it to send keystrokes.

  • does this work on a pc
