1954 FIFA World Cup Final: Hungary vs. West Germany

The tournament was won by West Germany, who defeated Hungary 3-2 in the final, giving them their first title. . . 60,000 people crammed into The Wankdorf Stadion in Berne to watch the final between West Germany and Hungary, a rematch of a first round game, which Hungary had won 8-3 against the German team. The Golden Team of the Hungarians were favorites, as they were unbeaten for a record of 32 consecutive matches but they had two tough play-off matches. This is one of the most interesting World Cup Finals ever.

i dont know what happened exactly i smell a rat either the germans were on drugs or they bribed the hungarians .by all means BRD was no match to hungary and cant win fair and square ,esp the german football history is full of scandals(bribing eng goalkeeper 1966, bribing ausria1982 ......... fucking nazis)

FIFA is cheted many matches trough WC history, ex. 1954 final, 1950 Uruguay - Brazil , 1974 Netherlands - West Germany, 2002 Koreas Republic all matches after the group stages, 2006 Germany - Argentina, Australia - Italy, Brazil - Croatia 2010 Uruguay - Ghana, Spain - Paraguay, Spain - Chile, Spain - Netherlands and many other that I don't know about for sure
