Anak keeps having annual or bi-annual small eruptions. If enough pressure could build beneath the volcano in the crust, it could very well destroy itself like the original Krakatoa. Hopefully that doesnt happen in out life time

Mount Mazama present day Crater Lake was way more violent. Even more violent than Mt.St.Helens

Im' sure the pressure on this volcano got to low that it couldn't repeat the 1883 eruption. but if it doesn't erupt for some time, now that's a bad sign...

The 1883 was more violent? That's an understatement. It's only the most powerful Volcano in recorded history. Also made the loudest sound ever recorded on earth. The shockwave circled the earth 7 times. The horizon all over the Earth was read for 4 years.
