"The Antec P190 Case is based on the original P180 case, but with many improvements. For one, it's a little larger so 12x13" Extended ATX form factor motherboards now fit. Also, there is no space issue fitting the newest very long video cards. The cases fans have also been upgraded. There are now a total of five TriCool fans; two 140mm at the top, one 120mm at the back and bottom, and a 200mm Big Boy fan on the left side panel. It has a cable management system, plenty of drive bays, a snake light, and much more. Aside from it being a ton and expensive, it's one of the very best cases on the planet! Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end." ~3dGameMan.com

  • idiots :D

or people who need more power for video cards lol?

  • Its a case designed for a EATX motherboard, which would typically be a dual-socket Xeon or Opteron board. Some of the Harpertown Xeons need 120W per CPU. A High-end workstation card.. ~150W. Four FB-DIMM modules.. ~100W

Thats almost 500W before you account for the motherboard, harddrives, and other devices. The power supplies used run cooler than a single 1KW power supply would, which helps keep the lower chamber stay cool and quiet.

Who needs it? People who know what the hell they're doing.

  • I like the bloopers : D

  • im getting case :P

  • @harryman04 well, those of us that have friends who play video games like to play together and transferring a heavy case can be a tough one :)

  • I don't see why it's weight is a problem. Once you have your setup you will rarely need to move the case. So for me, that con is invalid.

  • this case owns can fit 2 5870s in no problem

  • to heavy

  • Anyone else notice the label for the rear fan says "RERA"..?

  • @woodenforest3 What you fail to understand is that the higher the load on the power supply, the lower efficiency gets. By splitting the power load across two power supplies, efficiency is actually INCREASED compared to using a single power supply. This is due to lower temperatures of the coils and regulators, as well as avoiding MOSFET electron saturation.

In addition, the two power supplies are connected with the 'green wires', which allow one switch to turn them both on.

  • it's so you can have a lighter load without going through the crap of a dual rail psu. and so you Definitely have enough connectors for any setup
