Man, I love the simplicity. Plain uniforms, clean looking court without all kinds of corporate logo crap or overbearing college logos at center court. Less is more.

Still would be cool to see it -- I've never seen any part of Grandstand. Thanks for the basketball video.

@2nd2nun1 I find this a little funny because this clip is of a game played at Allen Fieldhouse, which now has one of the largest logos at center court of any arena in the country.

Oh my

@2nd2nun1 - also, no shot clock, no 3 pt shot = this is proof that neither is needed in the college game. NCAA basketball is still fun - but it was so much better in those days.

I coached with former Bearcat great Brian Williams # 45 at Bishop Hartley High School in Columbus, Ohio.

my father DUCK WILLIAMS did his this and everyone on the team did to to get the win

I too was at that game, seated mid level behind the winning basket. MIzzou beat Washington in the first game. At 4:30 as ND deliriously starts to leave the court you can hear the boos. Those were for Adrian Dantley who had gotten into a scuffle with Cincy's Pat Cummings under that same basket minutes before the video begins. A great game even though the crowd was pulling for Cincy!

I like watching broadcasts of 70's tourney games. This is the way it was before the 64-team tourney and the office pools.

Damn did people actually dress like this??? What the hell jacket was the Cincy coach wearing? It's hard to believe that anyone would think this was an appropriate way to go out of the house. I was about 10 when this game took place and I can only hope my folks had more fashion sense than that....

I was at this game as an 8 year old KU fan with my dad to watch some good tournament games. I remember being impressed by the irish fans and the excitement of the games. good memories. thanks for posting
You wouldn't happen to have a clip of NBC Grandstand (aka the postgame show) would you?

My clip of NBC Grandstand that follows this game lasts only about 10 seconds before cutting off.
