  • yes i would like to know if connie still has plans for her sluice and if they are available to get.gary.rusler@yahoo.com

  • @gary69174 : Gary, the plans are still available, just contact Connie: bottomtimers@yahoo.com

  • love these videos, can't get enough. i'm fascinated by all of your success, as someone else pointed out, you make it all seem too easy. where did the material that you're running in this video come from? is it gravel you brought back from Montana?

  • @pacificcoast : yes, this is gravel from Montana - we bag material and bring it back home from our trips as this seems the most efficient way to work when it comes to gem material.

  • thanks. how much does one of those sluces cost?

  • @Crow4gold : the sluice was made by Connie as a clean-out sluice for our dredges and worked so well for fine gold we use it for that. A company called Damn Fine Sluice used to make something similar though smaller and they were $70. I had one, but it wouldn't catch flakes or nuggets so she built a sluice that we could install a screen for sapphire & nuggets too. Sluices by Keene and by Jobe in the $100 range. Connie still has the plans for the sluice: bottomtimers@yahoo .com is her email.

  • nice job...

  • As always very informative.

  • Matt - Connie your "interests" are evident in the care and quality of your vids you take the time to share with others. Thank you for your upbeat approach, every day is a new day! In the start it appeared that feeding the high banking sluice extreme care was needed in just 'feeding' the puppy if you kno what i mean? Any thoughts how one may increase production or reduce time in processing? Larry

  • Holy cow, I caught several Sapphires in my sluice and did not know what I had until I saw your video. Glad I did not throw them out. A couple are a good size, I do not have plans to cut them myself so I would imagine they are worth $20 each for the bigger ones(?) uncut

    Thanks for your videos
