This is the story of how the National Senior Citizens Law Center and Kentucky Legal Services went to court to stop the state of Kentucky from cutting long-term care benefits for 3,300 elderly and disabled people. Ultimately, NSCLC won better services for their clients and improved the way the state runs the program.

  • What I want you people to know is, the checks and the foodstamps for the disabled come from the Federal Government. Why is it that the "GREEDY STATE OF KENTUCKY" can't come up with enough money to pay for the Medicaid, EVEN when they are being helped by the Federal Government to PAY FOR IT????! You people in Kentucky don't know it, but somebody or more than ONE somebodies, are STEALING Federal Government Money, and putting it in their POCKETS!!!!

  • NC just eliminated Intermediate level nursing home care for Disabled and Seniors. There used to be 3 levels. Now it's only acute or assisted living. Intermediate is the level most disabled and Seniors need, but it's no longer included. Terrible.

  • get some workin legs hahahah
