http://www.premierguitar.com PG's Shawn Hammond is On Location for the 2010 NY Amp Show where he visits the Brown Note Amplification room. In this segment, we get to check out the newest amp in the Brown Note line of D'Lite heads--the ODR 100. It's a 100 watt reverb amp. The clean channel is designed for high headroom, and tight low end response, making it suitable for loud clean tones with high output pickups, and providing an excellent pedal platform. The overdrive channel is voiced for tight, dynamic, smooth overdrive tones. It includes an FX loop, tube driven spring reverb circuit, and 3-function foot switch, as well as a back-panel mounted overdrive gain trimmer that sets the amount of overdrive that can be dialed in or out via the front panel controls. It also includes a 3-way bright switch, Deep switch, and Fat/Lean switch.

The amp sounds really nice, but his technique and control when he plays is extremely good. Players who want to advance would be well advised to take note of the way he handles the strings and fretboard.
