Support Students, Support the DREAM Act

The DREAM Act is a bipartisan proposal that would create a pathway to citizenship for thousands of young students who were brought to the United States years ago as children.

If Congress fails to act this year, another entire class of outstanding, law-abiding high school students will graduate without being able to plan for the future, and some will be removed from their homes to countries they barely know.

This tragedy will cause America to lose a vital asset: an educated class of promising immigrant students who have demonstrated a commitment to hard work and a strong desire to be contributing members of our society.

Look NO offense to anybody, but I am a citizen. I am Mexican-American. I pay my taxes every year I am a college student and I AM NOT on welfare or food stamps. I don't believe they should pass the Dream Act. Seriously why the fuck should some illegal get scholarships and pell grants that I deserve to get? I used to support the Dream act, but now that I am in college and DONT get Pell Grants, I have to struggle to pay for college while some illegals are getting full rides at comm. colleges? wtf?!

If she came here with proper documentation became a resident in due process , Then she is considered a legal Immigrant and is welcome to seek opportunity and become a citizen, By the way.. who the hell mentioned any race?? My parents pay taxes, and I am a salutatorian( taking advance classes at my high school), came here age 4... I don't know anything of Mexico.... I'm not allowed?

Wow! Looks like a lot of folks are against the Dream Act. And justifiably so!! Why should legal, taxpaying citizens cover the cost of education for LAWBREAKERS!!!

@TheLalaCrown You can't reward people for doing illegal things, with the Dream Act your telling more people to come here illegally . Having the government give you money for school IS A PRIVILEGE FOR LEGAL CITIZENS .

@dreamihad what is so bad about illegal immigration? taxes doesnt come from only middle class. it comes from all residents of the U.S. my mother came here to the US as An immigrant and also now pays taxes. i believe its fair, education is for all, unless you dont givee a f*** about school. if you do care then you should have an opportunity.
