One other wee hint I would give for the improv side is.... don't be afraid of ending and starting on 9th's and 11th's.

And don't pause between the 4/4 and the 9/8

The ending though is more hemiola than triplet. Then swing in a blues chord progression. Love your improv on the blues scales. Try mixing the blues scales with the mixolydian modes that naturally go with a major blues. Your ear's nearly there... Your playing is perfect though. Thank you. I wish I could get my peers to play this tune. You're amazing Caili.
