Insurance outlines how Republican gubernatorial candidate Chris Christie would give free rein to the insurance companies to drop coverage for critical procedures like mammograms, prostate screenings, autism screenings, and 48 hour maternity stay.
The insurance industry has helped raise more than $100,000 for Christies campaign and he has said he will abolish the assessment tax on individual and small group premiums, resulting in an additional $100 million in revenue for the insurance industry annually. The money from the assessment tax is used to fund charity care in New Jersey.
The insurance industry doesnt need a governor. We do.
