The Legends of Chicano Soul performers moved to Covina, CA at NICK'S Taste of Texas. Let me tell you, they made an impressive enterance and put on a grand show!

So sit back, relax, and enjoy the sounds of San Antonio's Chicano Soul Legends, ROYAL JESTERS (Dimas Garza) sing the classic Doo Wop song "Love Me" as The Legends of Chicano Soul performers come to Nick's Taste of Texas for the Saturday show!

  • This video was made last Sept. 26, 2009 at Nick's Taste of Texas in Covina, Ca. This was a Ruben Molina event called "The Legends of Chicano Soul". Ruben invited legendary East L.A.'s and Texas' musicians and bands for 3 shows, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Bomb cars were from a local car club that volunteered to drive all the performers to this show.

  • When I was in San Antonio there was a local hit 'Back To You' by the Royal Jesters. I have the record but can't find it on You Tube. Not sure it was a Chcano band or not? Anyone out there now anything?

  • I like this guys music but are they still playing music . this kinda of music I believe brings the people together Ill continue to play it on my sounds even thou some of my kids shrug it off . (So long Teddy Pendergrass } but I can tell they do like it.
