Much of the fun and intrigue is watching the carousel spin and place the record on the platter or CD in the drive. In the jukebox business patrons want "instant gratification" When it is not programmed with top 200 hits whether those be CD albums for 45 records people don't want to hunt and peck through 10s of 1000s of network songs. Besides if the network goes down (which it does) nothing is downloaded, nothing played.
