Worked 100% for me. Hair dryer for about 10 to 12 minutes, the sat in fridge for about 15 minutes, took it out and worked like a charm! Thank you!

Please do the world a favor.. and I am not trying to be cute or funny with this: Don't suggest using a hair dryer on a Playstation 3. It IS a temporary fix, but the risk of internal damage is Way Super High. I had a customer do this to his Ps3 and he melted the internal gears of the Blu-Ray Drive. We were able to fix the unit and get it working again, but wow, it was super expensive for him, and really a pain for us.
