i'm sure you have already said but I was wondering what times you run and who built the engine. I want one just like it only mine only has to take a 200 shot
Looking good, good luck with it this year. My 94 is down at TPiS having its final tune and cosmetics done before I say goodbye after 20 years to Minnesota and move back to my home state of Massachusetts where they still have the sniff test that my vette must be able to pass in order to register it in that state. So that is the main project for Clay and Jim right now. I posted some videos of the cosmetics, it was all shot at TPiS in Chaska.
I'm not pushing 550 to the wheels I'm pushing 505 as was documented by a diferent style of dyno up in Blanie. You know the kind you drive on to which they say is more accurate than the kind at TPiS which tends to give a slightly lower number I was told. I'll ask Clay about compression numbers when I see him next week. Mine runs on 101 octane plus and if you don't want to drive to Wayzata to get racing fuel 2 jugs of 108 octane boost does the trick. Only other thing Mine is in a Vette.
i just put in a th400 and a electronic vss and 4.11 this winter there gonig to have fun programming mine ( the th400 was mechanical and had to switch it to electonic so the vss does not match my stock program vss and that is what give you your speed
are you running a t56 so you have 505 to the rear wheels what compression are you running i got 550 on crank befor spray if we got the same motor how is your pushing 550 to the wheels when i got 550 on the crank. is that on race fuel mine is on 92 octane ?
we have preety much the same engine they maid money i have a 58 mm throttle body, 42 lbs injectors and alot of custom work for the fuel rail we had to cut the fuel rail apart and have tpis weld fitting on fitting i have two seprate fuel rails right now left and right ( the fuel pump is big for the nitrous and we had way to much presure) and i got 335 in the rear and we are tubbing it out this next fall im running 4.11 and a slp front hood scoop.
Yes I has a MSD digital switch and had a on off switch on the dash for the nitrous. Somehow the circuts got crossed and when I thought I was shutting off the nitrous it was really staying on. My window switch was mounted under the hood so while driving you could not see that it was sticking in the on position. I've got a brand new LT-1 Nitrous Direct kit for the LT-1 that $499.00 new and I used it maybe 10 times, I'd like to get $200 or best offer for it, let me know if know of anyone looking.
See I did'nt do any cages or anything as I am the structual limit for a C4 Vette which is roughly 550 rwhp before you need to start beefing up the body and things to handle it and I'm only at 505 rwhp so I have some room left. Bet you can't wait for the last of this snow to be gone so you can drive your car again.
What kind of connecting rods are in it??
