www.cigna.com | Wellness Tips from CIGNA's Health Advocate Series | Mental health - Thinking positively for healthy mind and body!

CIGNA Health Advocate Kathleen talks about the power of positive thinking. Has life brought you lemons? Then make lemonade, Kathleen advises, because thinking positively can be good for your health. Positive thinking has been shown to help you live longer, strengthen your immune system, relieve stress -- and even make the people around you feel better, too.

Kathleen says you should replace negative thoughts with positive ones and also look for the good in a situation. Surround yourself with positive people, use positive words in your conversations and stay physically active. Just giving it a try will make you feel better.

"Mental Health" is the fourth in a six-part series of short videos featuring some simple but practical tips for healthier living from CIGNA health advocates. CIGNA employs a large team of health advocates who can answer questions and help people with a wide variety of health and wellness issues, such as stress management, weight loss, physical activity, sleep and nutrition.
