one more thing how do you set it to a timer

@guitargod91000 - you just buy a timer @ a home improvement store (like Lowes or Home Depot), set the times that you want the rain to go on and off (I use a timer with 7 settings) and plug the water pump for the rain bar into the timer. Mine goes on and off several times per day for different lengths of time.
