  • In all adidas performance running shoes you'll find adiPRENE+. It tends to have a nice rebound quality to it. In some of the racing flats there is no adiPRENE in the heel at all. This is assuming that the athlete in the shoe is forefoot striking only. So instead of a material that absorbs your push-off energy during the toe-off, adiPRENE+ will give you a nice pop. So yeah, in short, I think they are great for forefoot strikers. Check out the adiZero adios for forefoot running.

  • Ok thx for the information. Anyway, do adidas make running shoes in different widths? I have recently tried the supernovas sequence 4s (I have flat feet with only mild pronation) but they are too narrow.

  • I was wondering then whether or not adidas running shoes are suitable for forefoot strikers?? I have always known all along that for forefoot strikers its best to have a shoe that offers dual density materials on the forefoot. 1 Part cushioning (to reduce impact), while the other part like the adiprene+ for toe off.
