"if we were in a binary system wouldnt we know it by now"
Yes we would. They try to make the argument that it cant be seen or detected because it might be a brown dwarf etc etc. However we have detected brown dwarfs over 40 light years away. The closest brown dwarf to us is 9 light years away.
57% of the detectable stars are binary. Of that 57% only around 7% are G-Class stars (like our Sun). Of that 7% that are g-class stars, only just over 30% are binary.
It is more common for our star type (g-class) to be singular. 70% more common in fact.
@jreed136 We've HAVE had holes in our magnetosphere. This planet has a verifiable history of magnetic pole reversal, yet humans have survived them all (while here anyway). I do see your point on "global warming" though. What DO you think they're spraying for ?
@unit4401 This implies that the climate is changing, not just warming - because it's NOT just warming. Also, at pretty much any given interval the planet can cool. Look at the Antarctic ice rebounds.
Also, yes, we have been exposed to radiation for our entire existence, BUT we've never had gaping holes in our atmosphere either. I think the seeding has nothing to do with that, however.
P.s You cannot trust ANY information on the internet. Be skeptical of EVERYTHING.
@unit4401 Because "global warming" is misleading. I've done my fair bit of research, but please don't call it global warming. The only reason our solar system is heating up is because our sun is reaching a height of activity that it hasn't for several hundred thousand years.
The Global warming people in government/business use that term to trick people into buying carbon tax credits and shit they just don't need. That's why we should not call it global warming. Climate change.
@jreed136 If the climate is changing by warming the globe, how can calling it "global warming" be wrong ? The fact is, that the ENTIRE solar system is warming, not just the earth. Planets as far as Neptune are heating up. Google it....
If you think about it.. The mayan, omec, aztec etc.. Obviously some survived.. How would they know it was coming. Im not trying to sound like a fag that knows it all. But either aliens are actually real and told them about it, Or they survived. You decide, But there is know way they would no that was coming with no good technology.
@isabstmr Its kinda complicated, i kinda believe it it seems like a good theory but i won't just immediatly believe it. They believe theres this weird star orbiting the sun on the other boundaries of the Oort Cloud. The binary star orbits the Oort Cloud as its gravity pushes away comets and eventually one of those comets destroy the earth. Ancient Civilizations survived cause every mass extinction is like 250k years or something.

@unit4401 No such thing as global warming. It's called climate change and it's natural.
