Bob Lazar Speaks Publicly About Area 51

Area 51 is a nickname for a military base located in the southern portion of Nevada in the western United States. Situated at its center, on the southern shore of Groom Lake is a large military airfield and one of the most secretive places in the world. The base's primary purpose is to support development and testing of experimental aircraft and weapons systems.

The base lies within the United States Air Force's vast Nevada Test and Training Range. Although the facilities at the range are managed by the 99th Air Base Wing at Nellis Air Force Base, the Groom facility appears to be run as an adjunct of the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) at Edwards Air Force Base in the Mojave Desert, around 160 miles (260 km) from Groom, and as such the base is known as Air Force Flight Test Center (Detachment 3).

Other names used for the facility include "Dreamland", "Paradise Ranch", "Home Base", "Watertown Strip", Groom Lake and most recently "Homey Airport". The area is part of the Nellis Military Operations Area, and military pilots refer to the forbidden airspace around it (R-4808N) as The Box.

The intense secrecy surrounding the base, the very existence of which the U.S. government barely acknowledges, has led it to become the frequent subject of conspiracy theories and UFO folklore

I can't believe some people are so moronic to actually believe those who have exposed Lazar are gov agents ... I've been accused of it in the past also simply for not believing Lazar's ridiculous story, he's been thoroughly exposed as a fraud countless times.

Former CIA agent, and convicted criminal, Aldrich Ames passed a polygraph while he was squarely lying. Serial killer Gary Leon Ridgway did the same. Lazar does seem reasonable but I don't base my conclusion of him of whats seems to be the case or gut feelings but only on his statements and the facts surrounding his case.

I play poker. Body language IS helpful but as you say its NOT an absolute someone is being honest. All the videos and lectures I've seen Lazar conduct and the fact he passed lie detectors indicate he believes what he is saying. He doesn't come across like David Icke, he seems of reasonable character/intelligence. I've said it before, if he IS lying about the whole thing, everything, he is one amazing liar/storyteller.

The reason Lazar has so many followers and defenders, is because these people want to believe him so bad, they ignore the facts that he is a fraud. Hell! Peter Popoff has more followers than Bob, and he is a proven fraud also. Idiots outnumber smart people by a good amount. Even after Friedman debunked Bob, people still eat up his bunk

I'm aware that police use BL but not as an absolute determinant of truthfulness. I agree with the rest of your comment but only insofar as giving us a hunch but beyond that nothing more.

I've based my whole critique of Lazar only on his comments and my fact checking.

Believing that convicted felon, corrupt business man, & self professed film processor Bob Lazar is a World Class scientist, is an insult to a person's intelligence! Scientists stick together, especially when major research topics are involved. Lazar has never sat with a fellow scientist to collaborate his "Story", but does with big mouth reporters who want to be recognized! His only buddy & proven fraud John Lear, both have videos produced by the same shady company that is in & out of business!
