More at http://historybehindthenews.com Dr. Art Pitz explains the history of U.S. intervention in the Caribbean in light of the recent coup in Honduras. He discusses the Roosevelt corollary to the Monroe Doctrine and U.S. actions during the Progressive era when U.S. policy endorsed military intervention in cases of "chronic wrondoing" by nations in our sphere of influence.
Isn't the couping of communist regimes in Latin America what paved the way for the economic prosperity of NAFTA and other free trade agreements in the Americas?

US military is already on the ground in Honduras. Obama and the US have NOT called this a coup, because that would result in a loss of tons of aid we are already providing. US has already admited they had advance knowledge of upcominhg coup, and tried to prevent it.
There are Israeli security "advisers" in Honduras.
