It has been a hype for months, it has been played by a mere handful of the biggest DJ's and it will redefine the way we think about dance music. René Amesz and Baggi Begovic proudly present their take on Nirvana's classic grunge rock anthem 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'.

Some records just have that special something, quite indescribable, but you know as soon as you hear, this record is extraordinary. René Amesz and Baggi Begovic's version of 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' has exactly that. After a limited promo mail-out the track was instantly picked up by the absolute DJ top (as listed below). Due to this, and the fact that the track was previously unreleased, it has been all the talk on internet forums and blogs, amongst DJ's and fans and has been number one in the DMC UK Buzz chart. Now we can proudly announce it's finally official! 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' will be released on the 30th of November exclusively on Beatport. René Amesz and Baggi Begovic are proper pioneers in the house scene. This track clearly exemplifies their signature production style and light up the dance floor in true Nirvana style. Go listen for yourself and be amazed!

  • CARE you guys,

Curt is still rocking in the 21 century how awesome

  • wtf seriously? Kurt Cobain must be spinning in his grave coz of these two morons who think they are producers. But then again there have been dozens of attempts to remix this legendary grunge song, all of which have failed miserably, that is all but one: the C-Quence bootleg remix. This song cannot be mixed into house, it needs speed at least up to 135 bpm. Anything less and you fail to capture what the song is really about.

  • @DeeEye69 know* and i think one of those to's aught to be a too..... i'm pretty stoned though so i'm not sure.

  • Those that hate this song and those like it obviously have never partied in their lives. If they had, they would no rock works to dance to, but to really get f**king crazy? YOU NEED DUBSTEP!

  • it's ok, but it took two guys to come up with this? That's depressing?

  • thiis is a masterpiece !!!

  • @ickatabg The spirit of Kurt Cobain will haunt the spirt of the dumb ass that made a cover that captured exactly what the original is rebelling against.

  • ja pierdole... ale kurwizna!!

  • @houseluvr69 Yeah, because listening to a different genre of music defines your lifestyle. You're an ignorant shit, get off youtube.

At least they had the decency to actually cover it themselves, rather than just sample it. Still, they turned a generation defining song into a shitty house track.

  • leave this song alone !!
