The Tuggeranong Festival is a non-profit, family oriented and free community event held annually since 1988. It is held on the last weekend of November in Canberra's southern suburb, Tuggeranong. The festival is an opportunity for Tuggeranong residents to celebrate their unique diversity, achievements and identity. The first Tuggeranong Festival began in 1988 as a small neighbourhood gathering in Kambah and it is ACT's longest running public community event of its kind. The main attractions are held in the central business area (a Friday evening street party) and at the Tuggeranong Town Park (all day on Saturday).
