Conservative Pastor Rick Warren, of Saddleback Church, demonstrates why we should trust religious leaders by demonstrating his "integrity" to his faith. Enjoy.
That Pastor is a fucking sexy charming great body man though ... He's got himself too (so) strong paternal image ... I want him ... Maybe he's just hiding and hating for the classical reasons.
Surely Rick's a self-loathing gay man, like so many evangelicals who come down against LGBT rights issues. George Alan Rekers, Ted Haggard, Ken Mehlman, Mark Foley...
Myn father went to prison for Christ in USSR for 7 years, left 15 children at home, suffered for God, will Warren suffer for God if he have too? he proly will cut my dad's head off if KGB make him. He cant even stand up for God's Word in a Free Country, I have no words for this sicko.
this "Pastor" is leading his members to hell, Warren u r a big liar and imberassing to Christ church. Take off ur blanket of Christianity and reveal yourself, U r not a God's man u r a devil worshiper.
BTW I used to dislike Rick Warren too cause certain people (Todd Friel, Johny MaC, etc) said he was not right in doctrine. But I listened to a message by Rick Warren on John Pipers website and it really blessed me. I think we should give Rick Warren some attention as we can learn a lot from him.
Listen to that sermon on John Pipers site called "The battle for our minds" and tell me that you cant be blessed by what he's saying
@iwantenlightenment The popular meaning of dogma expresses something that is not in keeping with what a follower of Jesus believes and it doesn't communicate how or what we think. Followers of Jesus know we are learning and the wise follower knows that he can't hold much too tightly except that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and that He cannot lie. We become convinced of this when Jesus tells told us that His sacrifice was for us individually. Everything else we hold rather loosely.
@iwantenlightenment Bright people recognize that those with hate have a problem with which they are refusing to deal. The end of that is that everyone who hates IS lying to himself.
Read Romans chapters 1-2 (but read it until you "get" it) and you'll see the explanation that bright people get.
God holds everyone accountable for what is in Romans 1-2 and the truth is that the circumstances of life communicate these truths to everyone, bright or not.
@iwantenlightenment If you really believed your quote of Socrates, then you wouldn't be so arrogant and you wouldn't be proud of seeking enlightenment.
Jesus said plainly, "If any man is willing to do His will (referring to His Father) then he shall know of the teaching, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself." Jesus was the faithful witness, who came not to do His own will, but the will of the One who sent Him. That will was for Jesus to offer Himself as propitiation for our sin.
@iwantenlightenment What you don't understand is that "brightness," while of great value, is of no value regarding genuine enlightenment. If it was, then light would show disfavor on those who aren't bright and light is better than that. Being bright is a source of pride and pride is your problem. Humility and a genuine desire to know and obey the truth is what will open the doors of enlightenment.
Wanting to justify your own desires will keep enlightenment from you.

Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever

That's why the Bible convinces honest folk.
