The Jewish Agency's Youth Futures Program (established in 2005) is a community-based, early intervention program in Israel that works with at-risk middle school students, directly strengthening families and communities. Led by 'Trustees,' who are trained counselors and advocates, the program reaches 10,000 students and their families each year in 32 low income communities, primarily on Israel's geographical and social periphery. Trustees help students and their families access local resources and services to overcome economic, social, and academic barriers. This is their story.
