  • I don't really know why I ended up listening to "celtic wedding songs" but I love celtic music so much I cannot live without it and my common law wife! Thank you tcartermusic for giving us this awesome opportunity to hearing this song :)

  • You are very, very welcome!

    God bless,

    Tony (T Carter Music)

  • Hi Tony, I must agree this is one of the most inspired pieces of JSB that there is.

I have it playe on the cello by Julian Lloyd Webber, which is also beautiful. I can see your interest in using a performance like this for a wedding, but as pointed out, it is really a piece to be played at funerals. However, your arrangement is really quite refreshing. Thank you and good luck in all you do.

  • Who's to really say where this piece is "really" to be played? I can count endless songs played at funerals that were not "really" meant to be played at funerals. The song is beautiful and elegant. Who wouldn't want this piece played at their wedding? I know of 2 other wedding collections that feature this piece. I consider it a versatile arrangement and am honored that so many people have used it for their wedding.

  • Would love to hear you playing this on cello. : )

And thank you for your compliments to my arrangement. Best of luck to you too...

    Tony

  • Just got my copy of this CD in the mail today... I looooove it <3<3 I plan to walk down the aisle to this song! <3

  • I walked down to aisle to this song. it was the perfect length and the pause at 4:10 was perfect for the transition between wedding party and bride. Love Love Love :)

  • nice wedding ceremony

  • Just love this!!! Hope to be getting married soon and this would be fantastic...Beautiful!

  • Hello Tony. We used this song just before our actual wedding started. I chose to play it then so that everyone would be seated, and could enjoy the garden and the song. Afterwards, I entered to Canon in D, your celtic version. Thank you for making my day's music so beautiful for our wedding.. I'll never forget how I felt in those moments when these two songs played throughout the garden. As if it were suppose to be that way, at that moment and with that music. Thank you my friend, Tracey Doss

  • I'll be getting married in June and I want to have this as part of my cernmony such as lighting the unity candles.t is oh so beautiful

  • Hello,

I was looking for a music for my wedding ceremony & then I found this :) It is so beautiful ... I had a meeting with a girl that plays on our wedding & she asked me if I have notes to this melody as it will be very difficult to arrange it for all those instruments. Is there any chance you have it? I would be super greatful & promise it will be used just once on our wedding :)))) Looking forward to hear from you,

    Asia

  • I walked down the isle to this very piece last September. Thank you so much.

  • I had this song playing as i walked down the aisle. It worked really well. I'll love this song forever.

  • It's beautiful, soothing and romantic :-)
