My friend Keith (Audity) joined me for this Single Segment playthrough of Super Metroid with the Justin Bailey hack. End game time 1:09, 100% item's collected. This was (obviously) played on an emulator, BUT NO SAVE STATES WERE USED, 100% SINGLE SEGMENT NO SAVING AT ALL! :DDD It took me 3 different recordings to get a video I was satisfied with.

Interesting Information:

1) Super Metroid was released on March 19th, 1994 in Japan at 9,800 yen (roughly $94.25 dollars at the exchange rate at that time (105.0974 yen to the dollar)), and nearly one month later on April 18th, 1994 in the USA at an MSRP of $59.95.

Awesome job! What time do you think is realistically possible for you with a single run?

This actually was a single-segment run. No save-states, and no save points were used, however it was done on an emulator played in SNES fashion. This is currently my best time as a single-segment run.

what emulator are you using? I've applied the patch to the (JU) ROM and it never plays on ZSNES or snes9x.

Ridley almost killed you, wow you sure are bad at this game. Maybe you were just distracted by Samus's outfit.

Arm running pumping is hard stuff. I usually never bother because I do it so slow.
