    And yet Japan, Germany and South Korea are all in the top 15 in GDP and GNP. By the way, one of the left's favorite US supported "dictator", Park Chung Hee, always win top billing as the favorite South Korean whenever they have a poll over the last decade or so. He may not have tolerated dissent, but he launched an economic powerhouse. Presumably the folks in the ROK appreciate a good standard of living more than dissent.
