What is truly wonderful about Olympia Snowe is that she is one of the few people in Congress truly interested in representing the people who elected her.
Teams are for football and baseball not for taking care of the needs of a nation.

You have to listen between da lines. To me, it sounds like she's signaling her own willingness to compromise, even on da public option. She didn't specifically indicate her absolute rejection of da PO, instead she focused on her favored policy and a compromise on subsidies for poor people.
Snowe may vote against reform, but she does not want to appear to be obstructionist. When it comes down to it, you'll get da public option with 60 votes, or you'll get it with 51 votes.

I don't know that I agree with this lady, but I like her. If only the rest of the conservatives were intelligent enough to speak like her on the issues instead of just going batshit crazy over everything.
