if anyone wants to really get into lock picking, take a look online at how the guts of a lock work. it will answer most questions you might have.

master locks are very simple locks to open. most of them so not contain security pins.( i have several government issued masterlocks that do. most of them are poorly constructed and can be raked in seconds. other more expensive locks DO have security pins and are much more difficult. a security pin has either grooves in it, or is shaped in a tapered fashion which causes the pins to get caught on the sheer line, and prevent the lock from opening.
