This is another fail at an easy battle......just hit him with dragonrend, he comes to the ground, and walk to the back of the room. He'll follow you inside and the trap falls! DONE!

I never had to fight him once. I called him, used dragonrend to lure him inside and then questioned him. When you free him you've to make sure that you put Lydia out of the room cause she will only attack him. Once his free'd just let him crawl to the balcony and he'll let you talk to him and to climb on his back. Hope this comment helps!

@LJDee91 it was probably a glitch. i fought him like 6 times before it stopped glitching and actually let me damage him.

When I fought him I couldn't even damage him and I was like lvl 37 with one handed at lvl 100 otherwise I'd of probably killed him. I wanted Paarthurnax to be the dragon you summoned :( still Oddaving is pretty cool.
