Okinawa Folksong

This song is called Itta Anma Makaiga. It means "Where did your mother". It is a lullaby.

This song is sorta like a lullaby to sing the baby to sleep.

Translation:

Where has your mother gone?
Where has your mother gone?

She went to the field to reap some grass to feed the goats.

To reap the grass to feed the goats.

Where did your father go?

He went to reap grass to go feed the cows

(If anyone has another correct translation to the second verse, please tell me.)
