PGI Firecrackers World Record

This string of 10.8 million firecrackers was dubbed the world's largest. There is a 800,000 firecracker string hanging above it which set the record for the most firecrackers in 5 seconds

This was in the infield of a 1/2 mile race track. I was standing at the top of the stands and OH YEAH I could feel the heat.

OMG. I don't even know how to describe it, it was soo loud. I wasn't wearing hearing protection (BIG MISTAKE), my daughter was however. At about 1:30 when the camera starts shaking that's me trying to cover my ear with my shoulder. At that point it just hurt. Stick your head inside a jet engine and you'll have an idea of how loud it was.

i remember this in appleton, they kept telling us to cover our ears and i figured that was just as a liability reason, but i was dead wrong; i would've gone deaf had i not had my ears covered for this.

hey im a pgi member and i witnessed this monster go up and let me tell you it was AWESOME!by the way unifuz who thinks were all gona burn up and die cause these firecrackers are depleting the ozone.10 million firecrackers isnt gona hurt anything except mabe eardrums.scientific fact 30 secounds of mt sainthelens is=to 50years of human pollution. the sun as been burning about 10,000 degrees hoter in the last 8 years and and Al gore who started all this global warming crap has no way of proving it
