Ford expedition 2008 dune bashing

Hi again, its me the expedition owner, completing the series,which i started to prove the truth that the expedition is one of the best offroad SUVs.

this video happened in another place far from the last video place, it has the same sand i think, which i see many 4 x 4 cars stuck in, but today it was free cause people go from here to cross the traffic jam at work days, and today was a friday, so there is nobody there.
the ford expedition is a 5.4L 300 horse power, and has two offroad options, 4x2 and 4x4, i personally choose 4x4 cause i dun see a wisdom getting the 4x2 one, and it has the independent air suspention, and its quiet a fuel efficent comparing with a escalade and 2009 land cruiser, and gives more than enough power to dune bash in desert, as u notice i dun go too deep in desert cause i dun like to harm the car, cause its limited, i heard that the ectronics like (navigation system and dvd player) becomes broken if they had a very hard
bounce, as you know everybody gets scared on there new car.

for Ford expedition owners: i use 4A (4x4 automatic) in this desert, and i inflate my tires until they are 22 psi ( the usual i put is 36 psi), and when i pull a stuck car i use 4L ( 4x4 low), i live in UAE ( united arab emirates), and any more questions am glad to answer you, ( ask by commenting not by personal massages).

I am Sry to Say that the car has been in the Dealer for a whole month now, because it blew 2 camshafts. the dealer say's its not available, so he will order it from other countries.

their service has been very annoying, and am actually gonna sell the car, because if further problems happen, i won't wait months for them each time things blows up.

+ they said the camshafts were blown from about 10,000 km. and my full service ended 7,000 km ago. So i think they knew it was broken and scammed me.

actually i never tried the car in water,

but i think it will do as well as in sand.

do u call these dunes, seems you have not been in any for real, with my respect all big SUV like expedition,Yukon,Taho etc.. are very heavey offroad and they can't go for real sand and real dunes except for these u showed us..thanks.

need some rancho shocks so you don't bottom out. we have that problem in our 08 Yukon xl Denali:)

I watched this video a few times before I noticed that you were in A4WD when it was filmed. That's a great way to destroy your 4WD system. Use low range because this is the terrain for which it's intended. I also love my Expy. It has 135,000 on it with no serious issues. However, I use low range when it's required and 4WH whenever the terrain is not as rough as in your video.
