I got my wurlitzer 200 from 1974 back from repair. J.Lüpke from www.Tasteundtechnik.de (Germany) did a really fantastic job. Now it´s tuned, serviced and the keyboard´s action is so nice that you can´t stop playing it. Two new speaker, special no-hum device and an new power cable an now the wurly is back on the road ! Bit the vintage sticker still stick on the plastic body...

  • Hi, I love the sound of your Wurlitzer. I have a 200a and although it sounds pretty similar, how did you eliminate the buzzing that is so typical of this model. in particular there is an aluminium plate that sits over the reeds/tines it has two nylon washer like mounts and it makes my 200a sound a bit like a kazoo!, oh could you say more about the anti-hum device, I always had to do a ground lift via a DI box and into a guitar amp to stop the hum, cheers mate.

  • and the piano sounds fantastic

  • wow you play good...
