@IIIIIIBradfordIIIIII It's not that way really, people in Illinois knew who the Blackhawks were, they just weren't popular to watch because they would always lose. Look, I don't care WHO you are, don't give me this bullshit that you would watch and pay tickets to see your team lose. No one would, not even these Vancouver and Detroit fans here talking shit on this page about "fair-weather fans". The Blackhawks were HORRIBLE, and no one would waste their time or money to see them lose.

@IIIIIIBradfordIIIIII It hasn't always been that order. The Hawks have a rich history and were at one point 60's-early 70's the hottest ticket in Chicago. Yes they had some lean years but Chicago is a great hockey city.

@Vanhelsing8900 Been a Hawks fan since I can remember listening to lloyd pettit in the mid 60's. Season ticket holder in the 80's (2nd balcony) Worn the Indian when other teams dominated! Play senior hockey and still wear the Hall, Esposito and Belfour jersey along with the old leather Cooper pads. As Savard said "Commit to the Indian"
