Roses that won't follow instructions, so don't be shy to prune!

If its winter and you live in a mild climate, your rose will still be blooming. Don't be shy, go in and prune it back. Its essential to healthy roses, yearly pruning.

You can wait til February or March to start pruning, but it has to be done, every year, don't worry, it will grow back!

Every year use a sulfur spray or copper spray. Even the best gardens get bolds and blights. Copper spray is organic and it works great as a fungicide.

When you have a damaged stem you need to cut it off otherwise pathogens will get into the vascular tissue through that damage.
