The iron maiden was invented by the victorians. ducking was more a form of public humiliation than torture.

It is 5 am. I'm supposed to be making a birthday card right now for my grandmother's birthday party today. Instead I sit here watching this video. Something is seriously wrong with me.

@SuperWunk yep. thats exactly what im saying. Sadly torture will be with us as long as we excist as will wars. we can put bilions and bilions into technology thats only purpose is to harm other humans. But when it comes to helping them, well lets just say that thats not as important as to be able to inflict harm on them. agression can be good, it can save your life. but many times its used to justify massmurder and torture, or even wars.

We humans are good at many things. but we are better on one thing, and on this thing we will always be better then on any other thing. and that is to inflic harm on other humans. we have built buildings for the sole purpose to torture people. I do not care if its for Religion, non religion, ideologies, thoughts or for information. I do not understand how a person can do such a thing to an other person. no one should be tortured. there is nothing called "humane torture". Torture is torture.

@samuriguy909 yh. It seems like, religion is the thing that lead to torture and death back then. And actually it still does.... but luckily in a more gentle way. I'd rather be shot dead than be in any of these torture methods. This is freaking sick.
