I've made some prints using a gelatin block and I'll use these in my art journal!

transcript: Here are some examples of some gelatin monoprinting. Gelatin printing is when you take just Knox gelatin and set it and make like a block and then you put items on it- you paint you put acrylic paint and you stick items on it, blocks pins pennies buttons -whatever you find etc and you make a print out of them so here's one and also I did an image transfer on the top of it - Eiffel tower - all my stuff is works in progress so when I feel like coming back to it I will. Here's another one; some more prints and again, gelatin printing is:
1. take the gelatin
2. dissolve it
3. get it solid in the fridge
4. take it out it's a square a block
5. put some paint put some items on it whatever you want to do take a stick draw some lines on it and you can make as many prints as you want off of that block.

You can reuse it - just clean it and keep it in the fridge, because it will go bad; it will get moldy. Just clean it off and put it back in the fridge. more prints, and these I will cut up and use in collages and some other pieces. Another thing you can do: this is sheet of labels from Staples and what I did was take some watercolor or take some acrylics just thin it down and just let it go. It becomes what it is. When I want to use these I just peel it off and stick it on -- whatever floats my boat! This is another video just showing you some things I'm working on!
