@fatlikeme3 yea man, you should only tip it spark plug up or you'll get oil in your air filter or flood the engine.

I think that is what they meant...right side up. It threw me because it says right on the blade grass side, so you know that orientation from the new blades. I just set the dual blades up perpendicular to one another, and it seem to be working fine. Thanks for the reply, Art.

@fatlikeme3 That would greatly depend on the type of lawnmower and how it was configured. I haven't had any issues with gas getting into the carb. from setting them on their side. I have had gas come out of the cap when it is too full and/or it is tipped the wrong direction. If you have a lawnmower that has an issue being on its side, I guess you would have to get some sort of lawn mower lift so you could get under it to change the blade and in some cases, the oil too.

How bout a craftsman tractor. Some idiots take the blades off, go to buy new ones, and then read the new blades package, which states, "Be sure to mark the position of the old blades." I know you made this to be kind of goofy, but I am desperate.

I am not familiar with how the craftsman tractor is set up. All of the multi-blade mowers I have worked on to not require the blades to be in some special orientation other than the right side up. Can the blade be attached at more than one angle without turning the shaft to which the blade connects?
If there is some strange reason the blades need to be at special angles to each other, I would check the owner's manual to see what that is all about. It sounds a bit on the strange side to me.
