THIS IS NOT INSTRUCTIONAL OR INTENDED TO TEACH MOVEMENT. CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN AND A FITNESS PROFESSIONAL BEFORE DOING THESE OR ANY EXERCISE MOVEMENTS. Hi everybody, so this is from my 'no intense exercise allowed week' (which is driving me nuts BTW). This is a hip opening exercise we do at Bodytribe Fitness that develops range of motion through every aspect of the hip joint; flexors, extensors, adductors and abductors. It is great for opening up and strengthening the spine as well and is really nice as a releasing move after exercise or, depending on your fitness level, as part of a low impact workout. As always the movements are performed on both sides to maintain and promote balance in the body, the series ending on one side in a reverse order of the way it starts on the other. Thanks for watching and happy movement.
Nice Pigeon... I've been working on that a lot myself lately
