Danceteria was my home from home. Despite being straight, I only ever clubbed in the village as I felt safer there from scallys wanting to kick my head in while I was on drugs....LOL. I did go in the Hac a few times, but early on when it it was better. Although it smelled terribly... place was a dive. It was the people and the music that made it what it is, not the venue itself.
