Also known as Thesis Antithesis & Synthesis, Problem Reaction Solution, and Order Out Of Chaos. This tactic has been employed by rulers for quite some time.

  • Well .. The smart people get it. I see a lot of not so smart comments. They make the videos point and don't even realize it. LOL!

  • Glad im not a Aussie?, vindictive lot.

  • I'm a cyborg and I'm watching in the 22nd century.

  • Blah, blah, blah,.... Ron Paul / Chuck Norris 2012 !!!

  • Leave it to a person not of American nationality to fully and truthfully explain the factual goings on in this political hellhole. Thank you and keep up the good fight!

  • In modern America the political debate is framed by the following paradigm: Left = Welfare vs Right = Warfare. This conflict can result in only one answer: More Power for the State. When the American people stop believing the fear-mongers and begin to be guided instead by the principles of Liberty and Morality then the current state of affairs will be rectified. Until then it will be decline, destruction, and unbridled tyranny.

  • This is true today, just as it was in the 1960s when I was still young. The leftist movements were supported by the establishment so that the establishment could appear as centrists...while they moved to the left, and government grew in size and in control. Each time this happens, the individual citizens lose a bit more of their power, freedoms, and rights, trading it for peace. Today, Occupy Wall Street-ers are being subsidized by the banks they protest against, for the same purpose.

  • My best suggestion is that CT means Critical Theory in this context :D

  • I might second the comment that it "needs more Zizek" and maybe it's dated too, but I'm not sure if it's nonsense. Basically, it still makes a point. (Well, apart from the conspiracy part...) We still live in capitalism, which is fundamentally still the same as back in Marx's time. He already postulated that it has to constantly revolutionize itself in order to function, so change (yes we can :D) is just the way how the system works.

  • Just like the economic "freedom" of capitalism and the "right to work". Earlier you were forced to work, now you have the right. It is the same with the co-operation with our rulers. Earlier you were forced to co-operate, now you have the freedom to do so. Capitalism was basically created as a cheaper and more efficient alternative for the forced submission of tyranny. Our leaders didn't conspire against us. They just realized this fact!
